De La Salle and St. John Bosco have had some time off and are no doubt ready to hit the field. De La Salle will take on St. John Bosco in each of the teams' fourth playoff matchup on Saturday. Averaging 55.67 points per game, the De La Salle squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully St. John Bosco's defense is prepared for a test.
The Spartans earned some more postseason success in their contest two weeks ago. They were completely in charge, breezing past Pittsburg 49-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35 to nothing.
Meanwhile, St. John Bosco and Mater Dei -- ranked first and second in the MaxPreps national rankings, respectively -- squared off in a high-profile contest. St. John Bosco managed a 39-34 win over Mater Dei. DJ Uiagalelei went supernova for the Braves as he passed for 446 yards and five TDs. This makes it 13 games in a row in which Uiagalelei has produced a touchdown.
