With a playoff game on the line, the Norte Vista Braves rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 88-41 victory over the Cubs. Norte Vista has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
Norte Vista's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryan Ramirez led the charge by scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Ramirez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Fulton, who scored 24 points.
Norte Vista's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for California School for the Deaf-Riverside, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.
Norte Vista will face off against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Norte Vista focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Wednesday. California School for the Deaf-Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
