Archbishop Moeller is back on top after a tight win and five new teams enter in this, the 13th week of the regular season.

1. (Last week 2) Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati), 13-1The Crusaders are back on top after dealing then-No. 12 Hilliard Davidson (Hilliard) its first loss, 13-11 during the Division I state semifinals.
Gus Ragland and
Jack Gruber each ran 25 times for 133 and 128 yards, respectively, while sophomore
Matt Coghlin kicked field goals of 27 and 23 yards.
P J Barron made 10 tackles.

2. (3) Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), 14-0The Warriors dealt Muskegon its second loss, 38-21, to win their third-consecutive Division 2 state title and give retiring coach Al Fracassa his 430th career victory (No. 6 all-time).
Alex Malzone completed 20 of 24 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns.
3. (8) Mount Carmel (Chicago), 13-1The Caravan posted their seventh shutout, 30-0, over previous-No. 15 Lake Zurich to win the Class 7A state title after winning Class 8A the previous year. It also was the 11th state title for legendary coach Frank Lenti.
Matt Domer set the offensive pace by running 35 times for 176 yards and two touchdowns, while the defense allowed just 71 yards and four first downs.
4. (4) Colerain (Cincinnati), 12-1, season complete5. (6) Blue Springs (Mo.), 14-0The Wildcats won their fifth Class 6 state title and second in a row with a 35-14 victory over Cinderella Rock Bridge (Columbia).
Ian Brown completed 11 of 18 passes for 165 yards and touchdowns of eight and 17 yards to
Kaleb Prewett.
6. (7) Eden Prairie (Minn.), 12-0The Eagles snapped Rosemount's 11-game winning streak, 28-7, to win the Class 6A state title. They are the first Minnesota team to win the large-school state title three years in a row and nine times overall.
Ryan Connelly passed for 118 yards and touchdowns of 51 yards to
Anthony Anderson and 54 yards to
Charlie Venable (on a screen). Anderson also ran 19 times for 165 yards.
7. (1) St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio), 11-2The Eagles, ranked No. 1 the previous week, were grounded by then-unranked Mentor 41-38 during the Division I state semifinals.
Brett Kean carried the load by completing 22 of 44 passes for 343 yards and four touchdowns.
8. (NR) Mentor (Ohio), 13-1The Cardinals stunned previously top-ranked St. Edward (Lakewood) 41-38 in the Division I state semifinals.
Conner Krizancic completed 25 of 40 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 129 yards and a decisive three-yard touchdown with 3:42 left.
Brandon Fritts caught nine passes for 178 yards and one touchdown.

9. (10) Dowling (West Des Moines, Iowa), 14-0Dowling handed Xavier (Cedar Falls) its second loss, 44-13, to win the most lopsided Class 4A state championship game in the past 18 years. Junior
Ryan Boyle dominated by completing 12 of 14 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns and running for 82 yards and four more touchdowns.
10. (11) St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio), 14-0The Irish raised their winning streak to 20 games by edging Marion-Franklin (Columbus) 17-9 during the Division III state semifinals.
Parris Campbell ran 23 times for 193 yards, including an 81-yard touchdown, and the defense had eight sacks.
Next: Thursday vs. Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood) for the Division III state title at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon.
11. (NR) Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, Ill.), 14-0The Cyclones handed previously No. 5-ranked Montini (Lombard) its first loss, 38-28, to win the Class 5A state title and deny Montini its fifth championship in a row. They scored a state-record 744 points this year and gave coach Ken Leonard his fourth title.
Gabe Green ran 26 times for 145 yards and three touchdowns.

12. (NR) Clarkston (Mich.), 13-1The Wolves won their last 13 games, defeating previous No. 16 Catholic Central (Novi) 32-14 for their first Division I state championship.
Ian Eriksen carried 32 times for 237 yards and three scores, while
D.J. Zezula completed 10 of 15 passes for 154 yards and two scores.
13. (13) Kimberly (Wis.), 14-0, season complete14. (14) Cass Tech (Detroit), 12-1, season complete15. (9) Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Ill.), 12-2The Ramblers were upset by then-unranked Naperville Central 13-10 during the Class 8A state semifinals.
Jack Penn carried a big load by completing 30 of 40 passes for 238 yards and running 12 times for 50 yards.
16. (17) Loveland (Ohio), 14-0The Tigers handed Zanesville its first loss, 38-35, in a double-overtime thriller during the Division II state semifinals. Sophomore quarterback
Drew Plitt threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to Giavanni Ricci and then Pitt ran for a 2-point conversion with 17.5 seconds left to force the first overtime. Freshman Luke Waddell scored on a one-yard run to force the second overtime, then Junior Evan Burig won it with a 29-yard field goal.
Next: Friday vs. once-beaten Glenville (Cleveland) for the Division II state title at Fawcett Stadium in Canton.

17. (18) St. Rita (Chicago), 12-2The Mustangs defeated city champion Simeon (Chicago) 35-20 to win their seventh Prep Bowl championship.
D.J. Miles ran 18 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while
Tommy Mister passed for 119 yards and accounted for two touchdowns.
18. (NR) Central (Naperville, Ill.), 11-3The Redhawks upset then-No. 9 Loyola (Wilmette) 13-10 to win the Class 8A state title.
Jake Kolbe completed eight of 15 passes for 140 yards. Dillon Grooss blocked a field goal attempt and returned it 83 yards for a touchdown, while sophomore Connor Assalley kicked field goals of 37 and 34 yards.
19. (19) Lincoln (Sioux Falls, S.D.), season complete20. (20) Batavia (Ill.), 13-1The Bulldogs avenged their only loss by beating Richards (Oak Lawn) 34-14 for their first Class 6A state title.
Micah Coffey completed 15 of 18 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns, while
Anthony Scaccia ran for 189 yards and three touchdowns.
21. (21) Omaha North (Neb.), 12-1The Vikings nipped Omaha Westside 23-21 for their first Class A state championship. Junior
Payton Nelson completed nine of 13 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown and scored the winning touchdown on a one-yard plunge with 7:16 left. Junior superstar
Calvin Strong carried 39 times for 197 yards and one touchdown to finish the year with several state records.
Jason Martin made 10 tackles.
22. (22) Arrowhead (Hartland, Wis.), 13-1, season complete23. (NR) Warren Central (Indianapolis),11-3The Warriors nipped previous No. 23 Carmel, 7-6, to win the Class 6A state title - the eighth championship in their history. They were able to avenge all three of their losses during the state playoffs. Tight end
Zach Gegner scored their lone touchdown on an 18-yard pass from
Jeff George. The big play was set up by a
Darion Howard fumble recovery. Jayson West became the first person in Indiana to coach back-to-back state football champions at different schools, having won last year at Lawrence Central (Indianapolis).
24. (24) Derby (Kan.), 12-1The Panthers defeated East (Shawnee Mission) 28-21 to extend their winning streak to 12 games and capture the Class 6A state championship.
Jeremy Dunham completed nine of 13 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Travis Young contributed 14 tackles (nine solos) and a fiery halftime speech.
25. (25) Fargo South (N.D.), 9-3, season complete
Dropped out: No. 5 Montini (Lombard, Ill.) lost to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield) 38-28.
No. 12 Davidson (Hilliard, Ohio) lost to Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) 13-11.
No. 15 Lake Zurich (Ill.) lost to Mount Carmel (Chicago) 30-0.
No. 16 Catholic Central (Novi, Mich.) lost to Clarkston 32-14.
No. 23 Carmel (Ind.) lost to Warren Central (Indianapolis) 7-6.
