On Thursday, The Meadows School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-42 to Boulder City. The Meadows School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Boulder City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addie Doane, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Doane is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Julia Carmichael, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The Meadows School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boulder City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
The Meadows School will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Indian Springs at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Boulder City, they will face off against Lake Mead Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
