Marcus Bruce ran for two touchdowns and
Asauni Rufus added two as well as
Bakersfield (Calif.) defeated Central (Fresno, Calif.) 45-6 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Bruce touchdown run in the first quarter, the Drillers were up 28-6 at the half.
Bakersfield expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Bruce.
Central's only touchdown came on a 70-yard kick return by Jacob Tavita in the second quarter.
The Drillers came into the game allowing 16.1 points per game.
The loss comes after Central defeated Edison 21-20 last week. The loss broke Central's three-game winning streak.
