1. Fairfield
Head coach: Dustin Gordon
2015-16 record: 23-4

Fairfield reached the Montana Class B state title game last year and was the No. 1 team in the state. Idaho commit Natalie Klinker averaged an astonishing 20 points and 13.3 rebounds and should be a force to be reckoned with. The Eagles will seek to make their seventh state title appearance in nine years.

2. Arlee
Head coach: Bill Stockton
2015-16 record: 21-6

Arlee advanced to the Class C state semifinals last season. Standout sophomore Alyssia Vanderburg posted 15.4 points and 6.7 rebounds. Look for Carly Hergett to add some support after averaging 9.3 points per game.

3. Bozeman
Head coach: Brad Rustin
2015-16 record: 16-8 Bozeman capped off its great season by garnering a Class AA state championship. Small forward Riana Rogers poured in nine points during the huge state title win and is poised to head the attack this year.

4. Great Falls
Head coach: Jerry Schmitz
2015-16 record: 18-5

Great Falls made it to the Class AA state title game last season for the first time since 1982. The Bison return stud guard Hannah Collins, and she'll be tough to contain after averaging 12 points per game.

5. Capital
Head coach: Bill Pilgeram
2015-16 record: 12-11

Capital reached the Class AA state semifinals last season. Junior Taylor Sullivan recorded a team-high nine points in the third place game and should be the focal point of the offense.
