De La Salle's Das Tautalatasi rumbled for the longest rushing play in Freelance this season in his game against California last week. Tautalatasi scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 124 on the day as his team topped the Grizzlies.
De La Salle extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating California, 27-14. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
The Spartans' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Williams threw for 77 yards and Tiapepe Vitale had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Vitale chipped in 195 yards. Austin Hooper helped De La Salle's passing attack out by catching one ball for 24 yards.
De La Salle's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 855 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Andrew Buckley has 20 catches for 369 yards. Vitale leads the league in rushing with 1491 yards.
Logan took down Mission San Jose 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
