Chase VanSchoyck of North Central (Farmerburg, Ind.) added to his state record haul last week by scoring 10 rushing touchdowns and scoring 62 points in a 93-20 win over Riverton Parke.

VanSchoyck's touchdown total broke the Indiana state mark of nine touchdowns and 60 points, both set by Walter Peacock in 1971.
VanSchoyck's record totals highlight this week's list of national football stat stars.
If not for VanSchoyck,
who set the state rushing record with 581 yards two weeks ago, Chandler Carroll of Yorktown would be in the Indiana state record books. He ran 33 times for 520 yards and eight touchdowns last week for the highest reported rushing total in the nation for the week.
Ra'Quon Glenn of Niles (Mich.) missed tying a state record by a week. He had 17 catches for 346 yards in a 54-26 loss to Portage Central (Portage, Mich.), which would have tied the state record for receptions in a game. However, last week Nate Drew of Chavez Academy (Detroit) had 18 catches in a game. Glenn's 346 yards rank No. 2 all-time, according to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.
Brian Johnson of Willowbrook (Villa Park, Ill.) had an impressive outing with 457 yards, however that total is 218 yards less than his best output of the season. Johnson has the best mark of the season this year with 675 yards in a game earlier this season.
