There's no place like home for the Springtown Porcupines, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on International Leadership of Texas Keller with a sharp 40-18 win on Tuesday. This was payback for Springtown, who suffered a 66-43 loss the last time these two teams met.
Springtown found their leader in underclassman Samantha Mooneyham, who scored ten points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Quintanilla, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Springtown's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for International Leadership of Texas Keller, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Springtown will head out on the road to face off against Lake Worth at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lake Worth is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. International Leadership of Texas Keller does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
