Spring Mountain (Las Vegas) to a 68-46 win over
Pahranagat Valley (Alamo) – claiming the Class 1A state football title as well as a historic streak.
Pahranagat Valley (11-1) owned a remarkable 104-game win streak, which began Aug. 29, 2008. They had won eight consecutive Nevada state titles.
Spring Mountain (9-2) held a slim 40-38 lead heading into the final quarter, but outscored the 18-time state champs 28-8 in the fourth quarter. Earlier in the season, Pahranagat Valley defeated Spring Mountain 36-18.

Kimberly (Wis.) at 56 games.
According to Sam Gordon of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Brooks threw for 499 yards and eight touchdowns while running for 96 yards and two more scores. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior quarterback came into the game with over 1,600 total yards and 28 touchdowns.
