Hailing from the alma mater of Barack Obama and Manti Te'o,
Punahou (Honolulu) junior defensive lineman
Canton Kaumatule is the next big thing to emerge from the Aloha State.
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound defensive end has been well-known since he was an eighth grader and his older brother, Luke, was a standout for Punahou.
Now, Punaohou is on the verge of a state title run and Kaumatule is on the verge of a recruiting mega-frenzy, as 247Sports named him the
No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2015.
He has an assortment of offers, though the 247 Crystal Ball projects him to join brother Luke at Stanford.
Take a look at Kaumatule in action in Punahou's victory over Farrington, and watch his highlights
