DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) moved past St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) into the No. 2 spot in this week's rankings and is just 2.1 ratings points behind No. 1 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.).
The regional rankings are based on the
MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland,
Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
