Hermine brought heavy rain, high winds, power outages and occasional tornado threats to northern and central Florida before moving onto the rest of the Southeastern United States, most notable Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Some forecasts project the storm will eventually affect states as far north as New York and Massachusetts.
Hermine was Florida's first hurricane since Wilma struck in October of 2005. South Florida was spared from the brunt of the severe weather.
