The matchup between Westlake (Austin) and Lake Travis (Austin) likely will decide the District 14-6A title. Down I-35 in the San Antonio area, Steele (Cibolo) and Judson (Converse) will face off with the winner positioned to take the District 25-6A crown.
All four teams are unbeaten.
Westlake, featuring the passing of quarterback Sam Ehlinger, is ranked No. 6. Lake Travis (No. 8), replacing Westlake as the most decorated team from the Austin area in the last decade, has a talented quarterback of its own in Charlie Brewer.
No. 5 Steele and No. 13 Judson last season were state semifinalists in Divisions II and I, respectively. Running back Bryson Denley is the major weapon for Steele. Sophomore quarterback Julon Williams leads Judson.

3. (3) Trinity (Euless) 8-0 Ja'Ron Wilson carried 31 times for 339 yards and three touchdowns in a dramatic 37-35 victory over Carroll (Southlake).

Avery Davis threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-7 win over Grand Prairie.

Xavier Martin threw for two scores in a 47-3 crushing of New Braunfels.

9. (9) The Woodlands 6-1 Coming off an open date, the Highlanders will face Oak Ridge (Conroe) on Friday.
10. (11) Marcus (Flower Mound) 7-1CJ Respass rushed for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 41-20 triumph over Plano East.
11. (12) Manvel 6-1 D'Eriq King threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns in a 73-7 mashing of Alvin.
12. (13) Cedar Park 7-0 Mak Sexton threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns in a 58-45 subduing of Vandegrift (Austin).
13. (14) Judson (Converse) 7-0 The Rockets come off an open date to face Steele (Cibolo) in a District 25-6A showdown on Friday.
14. (15) Carroll (Southlake) 5-2 Mason Holmes threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns, but came up short in a 37-35 loss to Trinity (Euless) in a District 7-6A showdown.
15. (16) Pearland 8-0 Connor Blumrick threw for three touchdowns as the Oilers rolled 72-0 over Rayburn (Pasadena).
16. (17) Dickinson 7-0 Jordan Myers rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 blasting of Brazoswood (Clute).

Colby Bradshaw on a 41-yard touchdown pass with a minute remaining in a 24-20 win over Taylor (Katy).
24. (NR) Crosby 7-0Mannie Netherly returned a kickoff 82 yards for a score and followed it with a 12-yard touchdown run in a 30-20 win over Dayton.
25. (NR) Mansfield Summit (Arlington) 7-0 Braden Nolen threw for three scores and rushed for 84 yards in a 49-7 romp over Seguin (Arlington).
