Folsom held off Rocklin to remain atop the rankings, while Grant continued its undefeated season. Jesuit moved up one spot after an impressive win over Franklin.

League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat previous No. 3 Rocklin 56-21 as Jake Browning passed for 377 yards and four touchdowns and Bailey Laolagi rushed for 51 yards and two scores. Cole Thompson and Josiah Deguara each had two touchdown receptions. Deguara had 213 yards receiving, including a 90-yard touchdown.

2. Grant (Sacramento) (2) 8-0
League: Delta
Result: Beat Sheldon (Sacramento) 42-27 as Deshawn Collins ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns and Donovan Brown accounted for two scores. Earlier wins include 26-19 over then No. 5 Elk Grove, then ranked second.

3. Jesuit (Carmichael) (4) 7-1
League: Delta
Result: Beat previous No. 13 Franklin 35-19 as Beau Bisharat scored three touchdowns, including an early 78-yarder, and Cole Brownholtz and Isaiah Bailey hooked up on big scoring plays. Linebacker Issac Lessard laid some crushing hits. Earlier win was 42-38 over No. 5 Elk Grove. The loss was an opener to De La Salle.

4. Rocklin (3) 7-1
League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Lost to No. 1 Folsom 56-21 after it was 14-14 in the second quarter. William Floyd, Evyn Holtz, Dustin Howenstine and Chase Hatada had good games.

5. Elk Grove (5) 6-2
League: Delta
Result: Beat previous No. 15 Monterey Trail 34-27 as Manny Scott-Anderson ran for two touchdowns and had the game-saving tackle on 4th-and-goal at the 1 as time ran out. Eltoro Allen and Spencer Sheff also played well. The losses were to No. 2 Grant 26-19 and to No. 3 Jesuit 35-19.

6. St. Mary's (Stockton) (6) 7-1
League: Tri-City
Result: Beat previous No. 23 Tracy 49-29 as Marcell Spady ran for 127 yards and three touchdowns in a battle for first place. Noah Righetti hit Keaton Hampton for three touchdown passes. The loss was in double overtime to NorCal ranked St. Ignatius (San Francisco), 27-24, on a field goal after missing one from 35 yards out on the final play of regulation.

7. Sierra (Manteca) (8) 8-0
League: Valley Oak
Result: The Modesto Bee's top-ranked team beat East Union (Manteca) 35-21 as Mark Paule Jr. scored four rushing touchdowns and caught a touchdown. An earlier win was over then-No. 9 Oakdale 31-20.

8. Merced (9) 6-2
League: Central California
Result: Beat Buhach Colony (Atwater) 36-14 as Jabar Byrd scored two touchdowns in a 23-second span and rushed for 165 yards. He had a touchdown reception and ended the game with an end zone interception on defense. The losses were to Fresno powers Edison and Clovis West.

League: Valley Oak
Result: Beat Kimball (Tracy) 49-2 in bouncing back big from a 31-20 loss to No. 7 Sierra, a game in which Oakdale was stopped twice inside the 10.

10. Inderkum (Sacramento) (11) 7-1
League: Tri-County
Result: Idle. The loss was to then higher-ranked Monterey Trail when a last-play field goal missed.

League: Monticello Empire
Result: Beat previous No. 7 Vacaville 26-14 to seize first place in league play behind two touchdown runs from Kiel Brown, who also had an interception, and touchdowns by Mac Neilson and Cal Bard.

12. Vacaville (10) 6-2
League: Monticello Empire
Result: Lost to new No. 11 Napa 26-14 in surrendering 19 second-quarter points in a battle for first place. The other loss was to then No. 6 Oak Ridge 24-23.

League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat previously ranked Woodcreek (Roseville) 47-0 as Justin Yeaton passed for 121 yards and two touchdowns and Ben Smith ran for 63 yards and three touchdowns. The losses were to No. 1 Folsom and No. 12 Vacaville.

14. Franklin (Elk Grove) (13) 5-3

Result: Lost to No. 3 Jesuit 35-19 after trailing 14-0 early and rallying to make it a game behind Jacob Lopez. The other losses were to No. 2 Grant and NorCal-ranked Bellarmine (San Jose).

15. Del Oro (Loomis) (14) 3-5
Result: Idle. Last win was over previous No. 16 Oak Ridge. The losses were to No. 1 Folsom, No. 4 Rocklin, NorCal No. 1 De La Salle and powers from Hawaii and San Diego.

Result: Beat Johnson (Sacramento) 60-0 as Caden Voges passed for 394 yards and eight touchdowns, three to Lonny Powell, who had two sacks to give him 20.5 for the season. Deston Garrett had 165 yards receiving and two scores. The loss was to No. 4 Rocklin.

Result: Lost to No. 6 St. Mary's 49-29 despite some big plays by Brandon Russell, including a 96-yard kickoff return. The losses were to Bay Area powers early in Freedom (Oakley) 14-6 and Clayton Valley Charter (Concord) 14-7.
