Chaminade (West Hills, Calif.) right now. With a new and intimidating blue turf, much like the Boise State's turf, the Eagles are ready for a new beginning and are hoping to make a huge impact on the football field. Although Chaminade has not won a Mission League title in football since 2006, they have goals not only to win their League, but to win CIF. Led by their senior quarterback, 6'2 180 pound Logan Scott, the Eagles are ranked in the top 25 in the state. The quarterback had impressive stats last year including 1481 passing yards, 63% completion, and 228 rushing yards. Not only that, but Scott was named to the All Mission League Team last year, an incredible feat as a junior. Scott highlights the talented Eagles, and Division I schools such as Princeton, Yale, and Nevada have shown interest in the quarterback. "My plans for next year are going to be based off where I find the best fit for me academically and athletically," says Scott.

The future is bright for the quarterback, but he is still focused on the year ahead as his team could make history. "Our team is looking really strong for this year with a lot of experienced returning starters I think we are the best we have ever been," says Scott. The Eagles already know what it takes to win, finishing the season 11-2 last year and have sixteen returning varsity players, including Logan Scott. The Eagles are also going to have their first televised game against football powerhouse, Alemany High School, on Fox Sports. With the publicity, the new turf, and same but stronger team, the Eagles do not want anything but a championship. Logan believes, "Our team goal is a state championship and we are putting in the work to achieve nothing less." Led by a determined and college bound quarterback, look for #4 Logan and the rest of the squad to go far in CIF and top the football rankings.
