The Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They really took it to Tippecanoe Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-7 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, who have now won seven games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.9 points per game. As for Tippecanoe Valley, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will head out on the road to face off against Guerin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guerin Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Indianapolis Bishop Chatard is ranked fourth). Tippecanoe Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
