Fleming scored three touchdowns in the victory. Ridgeview improved its season record to 12-1 and will face Cottage Grove for the state 4A championship this weekend.

Max Wilson School: SilvertonChandler and Wilson led Silverton to a 34-7 state quarterfinal victory over Springfield, improving their season record to 10-1. Chandler completed 10 passes for 168 yards with 2 touchdowns and Wilson rushed for 219 yards on 31 carries. Wilson has gained 1,363 yards on the season, averaging 8.4 yards per carry. Chandler has completed more than 60 percent of his passes on the season with 13 touchdowns and only one interception.
Nov. 12, 2013Name: Brett HildebrandSchool: McNary (Keizer)Hildebrand helped lead McNary to a first round state playoff victory, 30-14, over Roseburg with 327 yards of total offense. He rushed for 287 yards on 22 carries, scoring three touchdowns. He also had 40 yards receiving on three catches. Hildebrand has gained 1,352 yards rushing on the season, averaging over seven yards per carry and has scored 19 touchdowns.
Nov. 5, 2013Name: Geoff PayneSchool: YoncallaPayne helped Yoncalla improve its record to 8-2 by rushing for 302 yards on eleven carries as the Eagles defeated McKenzie, 82-42. Payne scored 54 points on the night by scoring eight touchdowns and six points on conversions. One of his touchdowns was on an interception return and he also had 20 tackles on defense. Payne has rushed for 2,399 yards, scoring 36 touchdowns on the season.
Oct. 29, 2013Name: Thomas HarrisSchool: Sprague (Salem)Harris scored three touchdowns, rushing for 176 yards on 23 carries as Sprague defeated McKay 34-6 to win the Central Valley (6A) league championship. Harris is averaging more than 200 rushing yards per game and has scored 23 touchdowns helping Sprague to a 7-2 season record.
Oct. 22, 2013Name: Jeremiah GrieserSchool: Regis (Stayton)Grieser rushed for 315 yards on only 10 carries, scoring four touchdowns in Regis’ 60-15 victory over Santiam. The Rams improved their record to 7-1, 5-0 in league. Grieser has rushed for 1,464 yards on the season, averaging 8.27 yards per carry and has scored 23 touchdowns.
Oct. 15, 2013Name: Ty FoxSchool: Crater (Central Point)Fox threw for seven touchdowns in Crater’s 63-34 victory over Thurston. He completed 26 passes on 45 attempts for 392 yards on the night. Fox has completed 55 percent of his passes on the season, throwing for 2,236 yards. He has also rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns this season.
Oct. 8, 2013Name: Jake LaCosteSchool: West Albany (Albany)LaCoste led West Albany to a 37-8 victory over crosstown rival South Albany by rushing for 331 yards on 34 carries and scoring three touchdowns. He has gained 1,052 yards on the season in leading the Bulldogs to a 5-1 season record and 4-0 league record.
Oct. 1, 2013Name: Troy FowlerSchool: North MedfordFowler passed for 473 yards with six touchdowns in North Medford’s 61-45 victory over Crater. He completed 27 passes on 36 attempts for a QB rating of 145 for the game. North’s victory improved their season record to 4-1 and 3-0 in league.
Sept. 24, 2013Name: Joe GriffinSchool: ImblerGriffin rushed for 453 yards, scoring eight touchdowns in Imbler’s 82-46 victory over St. Paul. Adding four points on extra points, Griffin scored 52 points on the night. He has rushed for 786 yards on the season, scoring 15 touchdowns and leading the Panthers to a 3-1 record.
Sept. 17, 2013Name: Dan SherrellSchool: ClackamasSherrell rushed for 309 yards, scoring three touchdowns in the Cavaliers' 35-7 victory over Aloha. Sherrell has run for 621 yards with eight touchdowns on the season helping Clackamas to a 3-0 start.
Sept. 11, 2013Name: Keegan LawrenceSchool: SherwoodLawrence led Sherwood to a 48-0 victory over West Albany last Friday. On just eight rushing attempts, he gained 143 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. He added a fifth touchdown on the night with a 80-yard reception. The previous week against Milwaukie, he gained 243 yards on 10 carries and scored four touchdowns. So in two games, he is averaging 21.44 yards per carry with 9 scores.
