Conner (Hebron, Ky.) rolled to an 84-48 victory over Franklin County (Frankfort, Ky.) in the Class 5A playoffs.
Jesse McKeehan, a 5-foot-9, 180-pound sophomore running back, led the way with 251 yards and three touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback
Drew Barker (6-4, 190) produced 219 yards and four touchdowns. Others over 100 yards were
Cameron Fogle (6-0, 185) with 162 yards and three touchdowns and 5-11, 185-pound senior running back
Dylan Levsey with 108 yards and one touchdown.
The Cougars, who scored 21 points in each quarter, finished with a state-record 745 yards on the ground. The previous record was 710, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. The total offense of 835 yards is No. 2 in state history.
The Flyers, who sustained their first loss, were led by Ryan Timmons with 264 yards.
