Video: Romeo Langford highlightsIndiana guard in action at adidas Summer Championships.Top 10 basketball prospect
Romeo Langford has battled injuries since the start of his junior year at
New Albany (Ind.). But if recent form is any indication, the Hoosier State star may be on his way back to being his special self.
MaxPreps caught up with Langford, a 6-foot-5 senior, in Las Vegas for the adidas Summer Championships. See the video above for highlights.
Langford is pegged as the No. 6 prospect in the Class of 2018 by
247Sports. Duke, Indiana and Louisville are considered the leaders in his recruitment.
Geography is interesting in this battle. Despite his Indiana address, New Albany is directly across the Ohio River from Louisville.
Langford burst on the scene in 2015-16, earning MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year honors after leading New Albany to Indiana's Class 4A state title. He averaged 29.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game and authored a legendary 45-point performance against Southport of Indianapolis in the state playoffs.
Injuries slowed him as a junior, but he still earned MaxPreps Junior All-American honors after putting up 28.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per night on a team that won 25 games.

Romeo Langford was the MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year in 2015-16.
