Jalen Yates and Dai'Ron Davis certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Yates scored seven points, while Davis scored eight points along with five rebounds.

The contest was Haywood's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javawn Brooks, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Indianapolis Shortridge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
