Near the halfway point of the Nebraska high school volleyball season, we combed through the MaxPreps volleyball statistics leaderboards in search of the Cornhusker State's top performances. And there were plenty.
Starting with Gretna outside hitter Skylar Mccune's 38 kill, 25 dig performance through Papillion-LaVista star Morgan Blaser's 20 kill, 14 dig and 42 serves received, Cornhusker State volleyballers appear to be performing at a high level.
Wahoo senior Mya Larson pushed Mccune at the top with a 38 kill, 22 dig and 22 serves received performance. However, Mccune's 38 kills, 25 digs and 35 serves received was too much to overcome.
Lincoln Southwest makes the No. 3 line with Shaylee Myers' 32 kill performance in a 3-2 triumph over Omaha Westside while Cameran Jansky of Exeter-Milligan sits fourth with a quadruple double against Sutton. Alyssa Buchholz of Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons Decatur Northeast rounds out the Top 5 with her quadruple double against Lutheran High Northeast.
Classes A, C1, C2 and D2 are all represented in this week's Top 10. But that doesn't mean there weren't magnificent performances in Classes B and D1 as well. Platteview sophomore Lexi Hans' 21 kills, 14 digs and 39 serves received against Wahoo led Class B while Brianna Lemke of Mead is Class D1's top performer after hammering 22 kills to the floor, digging up 26 balls and handling 19 serve reserves in a 3-2 loss to Bishop Neumann.
Mccune is the only Nebraska high school volleyball player to make this week's Top 10 twice after grabbing the top spot and sitting ninth with 23 kills in a 3-2 win over Millard North.

1. Skylar Mccune, Gretna, Sr., OH38 Kills, .337 hitting percentage, 25 digs and 35 serves received in a 3-2 win over Millard South, Sept. 14.
2. Mya Larson, Wahoo, Sr., OH/DS38 Kills, .351 hitting percentage, an ace serve, one block, 22 digs, a set assist and 22 serves received in a 3-2 win over Platteview, Sept. 7.
3. Shaylee Myers, Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln), Sr., OH/DS32 Kills, .458 hitting percentage, 5 ace serves, 22 digs, a set assist and 22 serves received in a 3-2 win over Omaha Westside, Sept. 9.
4. Cameran Jansky, Exeter-Milligan (Exeter), Sr., MB23 Kills, .304 hitting percentage, 5 ace serves, 15 blocks, 12 digs, 2 set assists and 16 serves received in a 3-2 loss to Sutton, Aug. 26.
5. Alyssa Buchholz, Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Bancroft), Sr., MH15 Kills, .146 hitting percentage an ace serve, 10 blocks, 18 digs and 22 Serves received in a 2-1 loss to Lutheran High Northeast, Sept. 11.
6. Avery Yosten, Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk), So., MH14 Kills, .159 hitting percentage, an ace serve, 10 blocks, 16 digs and 20 serves received in a 3-2 win over Pierce, Sept. 2.
7. Cheyenne Pokorny, Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers), Sr.12 Kills, .167 hitting percentage, 12 blocks, 20 digs and 23 serves received in a 3-2 loss to St. Mary's, Sept. 7.
8. Kylie Weeks, Elkhorn South (Omaha), Sr., OH/L27 Kills, .222 hitting percentage, 3 blocks, 18 digs and 64 serves received in a 3-2 loss to Papillion-LaVista, Sept. 9.
