A MaxPreps All-American, Hennington recorded 517 digs (5.0), 96 assists and 40 aces on 338 attempts in leading a balanced Sonora team to California's D-IV state title and a 37-5 season.

Friend compiled 309 kills in 777 attempts, 12 aces on 139 attempts and 103 digs to go along with 34 blocks in helping lead the Wildcats to a state title.
OH - Emily Baptista, Hilmar, 6-2 JRIt's easy to see why Hilmar won 38 matches when you look at Baptista's stats: state-leading 751 kills (6.2), 510 digs (4.2) and 98 service aces. Baptista was named to MaxPreps Underclass All-American team.
OH - Shreya Dixit, Harker (San Jose), 6-0 SRThe West Bay League's MVP, Dixit once again put up good numbers, averaging 5.1 kills and 3.8 digs, serving 97.4 percent, blocking 48 balls and taking 311 digs.
OH - Aeryn Owens, Alta Loma, 5-11 SRThe CIF-SS D-4 Player of the Year, Owens led Alta Loma to the state final match and a 36-3 season. She averaged 4.6 kills (52.7 percent) and 2.4 digs to go along with 65 blocks and 92 aces. She will attend Cal State Northridge.
OH - Peyton Shelburne, Cate (Carpinteria), 5-9 JRShelburne earned All-CIF honors as well as being named to the All-Presidio Sports team in leading the Rams to a 24-2 season and a deep playoff run.
OH - Kathy McKiernan, Duarte, 6-1 SRThe three-sport standout and all-CIF selectee, McKiernan was the catalyst in leading Duarte to the Montview League title. She averaged 5.1 kills and 6.6 digs on the season.
OH/MB - Tricia Brown, Big Bear (Big Bear City), 6-0 SRBrown put up big numbers – 6.3 kills (543) and 2.1 blocks (183) – as Big Bear made the playoffs and went 21-8. The MaxPreps All-American also was a 96.5 percent server with 53 aces and returned 402 serves with only 20 errors.
MB - Devyn Cross, Desert (Edwards AFB), JRCross averaged two blocks and five kills en route to a 22-2 season.
MH/MB - Madison Pierce, Dos Palos, 6-2 SRPierce had 495 kills (5.1), 83 blocks and 45 aces as the Mustangs went unbeaten in league and won 24 matches. She was named to the Merced Sun-Star All-Area team.
MB - KiAnna Cunningham, Woodlake, 6-0 SRThe East Sequoia League MVP, Cunningham finished with 284 kills, 27 aces and 79 blocks. She helped lead the Tigers to a fourth-straight league championship.
MH - Morgan Hughes, Willows, 5-9 SRThe all-Northern Section standout averaged 4.6 kills, blocked 138 shots, served 72 aces and had 149 digs (all team highs) as the Honkers won 30 matches.
S - Kaylee Arthur, Carmel, 5-8 SR

A four-year starter and MTAL MVP, Arthur accumulated 2,668 career assists, including 950 this past fall (10.5). She also had 65 aces and served 279 points. Arthur finished her career with 803 digs and 271 kills.
S - Jayann DeHoog, Bakersfield Christian, 5-8 SRA three-year starter, DeHoog led the Eagles to consecutive section titles and averaged 8.9 assists per set. She was named to the Bakersfield Californian All-Area team.
S - Jillian Saenz, St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs), 5-8 SRThe Swordsmen got 31 wins and Saenz had 73 aces, 304 digs (3.0) and 1,105 assists (10.9).
S - Lisa Morabe, Notre Dame (Belmont), 5-8 SRThe quarterback for the 35-win Tigers was four-year starter Morabe. She finished the season with an 11.5 assist per set average (944 in 82 sets).
S - Anita Henson, Yreka, 5-7 SRHenson led Miners to a 23-win season with a 9.0 assist-per-set average. She was named first team all-Northern Section.
L - Shea Bertolucci, West Valley (Cottonwood), 5-7 SRAmong the state leaders in digs with 850 (8.6), Bertolucci also returned 461 serves and served 94 percent (60 aces) as the Eagles went 26-9. Named the Northern Athletic League's MVP, she was named all-Northern Section.
L - Julianna House, Carmel, 5-6 SRA repeater on the Monterey Herald's All-County team, House recorded nearly 500 digs for the 27-4 Mission Trail Athletic League champions. A four-year starter, the team captain finished her career with 1,173 digs and 165 aces.
