Sept. 3 - Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.) vs. Bellevue (Wash.) at Mission Viejo
The Lions will hope that their next foray against a Washington-state team goes as well as the last. Oaks Christian knocked off Class 4A power Skyline two years ago, 28-25, and batles perennial 3A champ Bellevue this year. Oaks Christian begins the season with a 10-game winning streak after going 12-2 last season and winning the Northern Division championship in the Southern Section with a 29-28 triumph over Westlake. The Lions should be tough on defense where they return nine starters and they also have one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country in
Jordan Payton.
The Wolverines won their third straight 3A state championship and their sixth since 2003 with a 38-0 win in the championship game over Kamiakin (Kennewick). Bellevue also has a win streak going at 12 in a row. Bellevue returns six starters on offense and defense including a pair of big linemen in 6-5
Jake Eldrenkamp and 6-5 center
Michael Kneip.

Can Bellevue come to California and knock off Oaks Christian?
