Watch Hartley defend its state championship with another win over Steubenville in D-IV. You voted, you decided...who had Ohio's best individual performance at the state finals? Who had the best team performance?
MaxPreps and JJHuddle are proud to wrap another successful season of the athlete of the week and team of the week awards in football.
Each week during the season (regular and post), there was be a fan-generated contest to tab weekly winners. Each weekly winner receives awards: bracelet and certificates.
How did it work? Fans nominated top performances and nominees were selected from those schools that report stats on MaxPreps. Weekly finalists (up to 10) were announced on MaxPreps and JJHuddle every Tuesday and voting was conducted in a special poll.

Week 15 Defensive Football Athlete of the Week
* Jaden Manley, sr., DB, Bishop Hartley (Columbus) (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)Had four tackles, two tackles-for-loss, two pass break-ups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a 24-21 win over
Steubenville in the D-IV state final. Also caught one pass for a 32-yard touchdown.

Hartley captured back-to-back Division IV state titles with another three-point win over Stuebenville.

Matteo Agriesti kicked a 31-yard field goal as time expired for the victory. The kick was set up by a 59-yard return on a missed Steubenville field goal by
Cody Kirkbride with 1:32 left.

first time since 1986. Wooster has outscored their opponents 170-29 on

receiver/defensive back set school records for receptions (15) and
tackles (28) in a game in a 45-44 loss to Tippecanoe. Caught 15 passes
for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Had 21 solo tackles, seven assists and
a forced fumble.

The Warriors beat Waterford 29-14 in D-VII to claim the program's first
regional title. Senior back Daniel Bangura ran for 272 yards and two
touchdowns on 35 carries to become the first Ohio player to surpass
4,000 yards rushing. His 56 total touchdowns are a state single-season
record too.

Quarterback ran for three touchdowns and threw for another in a 48-7 win over Harvest Prep in the D-VII state semifinals.
