STORYLINES* Goodwin surprised many in August when he committed to Travis Ford and Saint Louis. Iowa State, Michigan State, Ohio State and Texas all offered the Top 50 prospect. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound guard was a first team MaxPreps Junior All-american in 2015-16 after averaging over 18 points per game and leading the Crusaders to a state title. Althoff Catholic is 62-6 over the past two seasons with Goodwin leading the way.
* Several of Althoff's big guns are contributing to the unbeaten Crusader football team this fall, including pass-catchers Goodwin, Coldon and Brown. Through 10 games, that trio has 96 receptions for 1,592 yards and 24 touchdowns.
