Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth).
The Knights finally exacted revenge Friday night.
Ranked No. 9 nationally by MaxPreps, Bishop Montgomery beat No. 2 Sierra Canyon 70-63 in California's Southern Section Open Division semifinals at USC’s Galen Center.

Ethan Thompson dropped a team-high 21 points to lead the Knights to victory. San Diego State commit
Jordan Schakel also came up clutch with 15 fourth-quarter points and ended with 20.
The Knights (26-2) led by as many as 15 points.

Bishop Montgomery faces the winner of No. 3
Chino Hills and No. 5
Mater Dei (Santa An) in the finals next Saturday.
The nation's top junior prospect,
Marvin Bagley III, finished with a game-high 28 points in a losing effort for Sierra Canyon (27-2). The Trailblazers will still advance to state-level competition in California and could get a rematch with Bishop Montgomery in the coming weeks.
