Week 7 of the football season in Texas is in the books. There 10 teams had made huge jumps in the MaxPreps computer rankings of all 1,204 schools in the conference.
10 biggest computer ranking jumps
Lubbock Christian (Lubbock)Jumped 110 spots to No. 628. With a 48-21 victory over Sacred Heart (Muenster) on Friday, Oct. 14, the Eagles improved to 6-1 this season.

Parish Episcopal (Dallas)Jumped 112 spots to No. 221. The Panthers (5-2) scored a 34-31 in overtime over Bishop Dunne on Friday, Oct. 14.
LexingtonJumped 114 spots to No. 276. The Eagles improved to 5-2 with a convincing 70-21 victory over Comfort on Friday, Oct. 14. Lexington has scored 60 or more points in four of its wins.
Brewer (Fort Worth)Jumped 115 sports to No. 436. The Bears (2-5) are coming off a big 34-7 victory over Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth). The win is Brewer's first since the second week of the season.
AnsonJumped 120 spots to No. 420. It was another big win for the Tigers as they beat Hawley 34-21 on Friday, Oct. 14. Anson (6-2) has now won three of its last four games.
Alief Hastings (Houston, Texas)Jumped 133 spots to No. 465. The Bears (2-6) registered their second win in three weeks by defeating Alief Elsik 46-6 on Friday, Oct. 14. The 30-point win should be a confidence booster in a rivalry game.
Gregory-Portland (Portland, Texas)Jumped 138 spots to No. 689. The Wildcats (3-4) pulled off an upset over then-5-1 Alice, beating them 13-10 on Friday, Oct. 14. Gregory-Portland has now won three of its last four games after starting the season 0-3.
Nimitz (Houston, Texas)Jumped 141 spots to No. 691. The Cougars (2-5) won two games in a row, but lost to Westfield (Houston) 33-0 on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Jefferson (Jefferson, Texas)Jumped 161 spots to No. 505. The Bulldogs (5-2) have won four games in a row after downing Hughes Springs 48-36 on Friday, Oct. 14.
Carlisle (Price, Texas)Jumped 194 spots to No. 420. The Indians (7-0) registered their fifth game this season of allowing seven points or fewer in a game. Alto was no match as Carlisle pulled off a 28-7 victory on Friday, Oct. 14.
