It's all over for spring girls soccer. The final state championships were awarded this weekend, and the final MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Girls Soccer Rankings will come out Thursday.
ALABAMA (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Alabama.
— 6A: Spain Park (Hoover) whacked Daphne by a 5-0 score on Saturday.
— 5A: Spanish Fort got the best of Chelsea in a 6-3 victory on Saturday.
— 1A-4A: Montgomery Academy edged Guntersville by a 2-1 count on Saturday.
ALASKA (Brackets)
The state title has been awarded in Alaska.
— South (Anchorage) bested defending champ Dimond (Anchorage) for the Alaska state title, winning 3-0 on Saturday in Anchorage. (Story)
ARKANSAS (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Arkansas.
— 7A: Conway beat Bentonville by a 3-0 score.
— 6A: Mountain Home won 1-0 over Russellville.
— 5A: Harrison beat Little Rock Christian Academy 2-1 for the title.
— 4A: Pulaski Academy (Little Rock) needed overtime to beat Valley View (Jonesboro) 2-1.
CALIFORNIA
California does not have a state title. Soccer is up to each individual section, so some play winter soccer instead of spring and some sections crown winter and spring champions. A section title is the most a team can achieve in California spring soccer. All sections are done now.
— SAC-JOAQUIN SECTION (Brackets)
— DIVISION I: Davis bested St. Francis (Sacramento) by a 1-0 score, meaning a possible climb in the Xcellent 25 rankings.
— DIVISION II: Granite Bay edged Rocklin 1-0 to win the D-II title.
— DIVISION III: No. 16 Rio Americano (Sacramento) and Benicia met in the final for the third straight year, and it was Rio winning 2-0 in overtime.
— DIVISION IV: Sierra (Manteca) finished second in the Valley Oak League to Oakdale but won 1-0 in the section final.
— DIVISION V: West Campus (Sacramento) romped over Calaveras (San Andreas) by a 3-0 score in the final.
— DIVISION VI: Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento) edged Mariposa County 1-0.
— DIVISION VII: Millennium (Tracy) and Faith Christian (Yuba City) were tied after regulation but Millennium won by a 5-3 score in overtime.
— NORTHERN SECTION: Chico beat Foothill (Palo Cedro) 3-1 for the Eastern Athletic League Cup title.
— NORTH COAST SECTION (Bracket): No. 3 Marin Catholic (Kentfield) beat No. 4 Redwood (Larkspur) by a 1-0 score to win the section title.
— SAN FRANCISCO SECTION: Lowell (San Francisco) beat Lincoln (San Francisco) for the City title.
COLORADO (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Colorado.
— 5A: Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch) was the top seed and won the title with a 3-1 triumph over No. 3 Dakota Ridge (Littleton).
— 4A: No. 2 Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch) eliminated No. 4 Wheat Ridge by a 1-0 score for the title.
— 3A: No. 2 seed The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs) got the best of No. 5 seed Peak to Peak (Lafayette) and won the state title by a 1-0 score at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. TCA finished 17-2-1, Peak to Peak finished 15-4-1.
DELAWARE (Brackets)
The state title has been awarded in the First State.
— No. 5 DuPont (Wilmington) bested No. 6 Wilmington Charter by a 2-0 score to win the state title in Delaware. In the 17th edition of the state tournament, A.I. DuPont won its sixth state title. (Story)

State titles have been awarded in the Peach State.
— CLASS AAAAA: Harrison (Kennesaw) bested North Gwinnett (Suwanee) 1-0 in the title match.
— CLASS AAAA: McIntosh (Peachtree City) and Whitewater (Fayetteville) went to penalty kicks after a 1-1 deadlock. McIntosh came out on top, 6-5 in PKs.
— CLASS AAA: St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta) dominated with a 4-0 victory over Woodward Academy (College Park).
— CLASS AA: Blessed Trinity (Roswell) came out on top of a 1-0 score against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross).
— CLASS A: First Presbyterian Day (Macon) edged Paideia (Atlanta) 3-2 for the state crown.
ILLINOIS (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in the Land of Lincoln.
— 3A: Granite City beat Naperville North 1-0 for the state title, no small feat considering the massive Illinois brackets.
— 2A: Triad (Troy) got past Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock) 2-1 for the state title.
— 1A: Marquette Catholic (Alton) smacked Herscher by a 5-0 score to win the state title.
IOWA (Brackets) *Corrected
State titles have been awarded in the Hawkeye State.
— 3A: Ankeny needed a shootout but beat Iowa City West 1-0.
— 2A: Xavier (Cedar Rapids) got past Waukee (Waukee) 2-1.
— 1A: Assumption (Davenport) beat Union (La Porte City) 3-1 for the title.
KANSAS (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Kansas.
— 6A: Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park) beat West (Shawnee Mission) by a 1-0 score for the title and finished 17-3.
— 5A: Aquinas (Overland Park) earned a 5-0 victory over Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park) to finish 16-5.
— 4-1A: St. James Academy (Lenexa) topped Hayden (Topeka) 1-0 to finish 10-8-1 and win the title.
MICHIGAN (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Michigan.
— DIVISION 1: Novi all but secured the top spot in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Girls Soccer Rankings with a 1-0 decision over Troy at Michigan State University.
— DIVISION 2: Plainwell got past Ladywood (Livonia) by a 2-1 score for the title.
— DIVISION 3: Powers Catholic (Flint) bested Unity Christian (Hudsonville) 1-0 to take the crown.
— DIVISION 4: Bishop Foley (Madison Heights) earned a 2-1 triumph over Lansing Christian for the title.
MISSOURI (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Missouri.
— CLASS 3: Liberty needed overtime to get past Ursuline Academy (St. Louis), 2-1.
— CLASS 2: Visitation Academy (St. Louis) needed penalty kicks to beat Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City) 2-1.
— CLASS 1: Springfield Catholic won 3-2 over St. Vincent (Perryville) to take the title.
NEBRASKA (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Nebraska, and both required overtime.
— CLASS A: Millard North (Omaha) won the title with a 2-1 triumph in overtime against Lincoln Southeast.
— CLASS B: Skutt Catholic (Omaha) bested Gretna 2-1 in overtime as well.
NORTH CAROLINA (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in the Tar Heel State.
— 4A: Leesville Road (Raleigh) shut out Ardrey Kell (Charlotte) by a 3-0 score for the title.
— 3A: Charlotte Catholic bested Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh) 2-1 for the title.
— 2A: Cuthbertson (Waxhaw) outlasted Carrboro (Chapel Hill) for a 2-1 win that needed a 5-4 margin in penalty kicks. (Story)

NORTH DAKOTA (Brackets)
The state title has been awarded in North Dakota.

State titles have been awarded in Oklahoma.
— 6A: Edmond North (Edmond) beat Union (Tulsa) by a 3-2 score.
— 5A: Bishop Kelley (Tulsa) bested Deer Creek (Edmond), 1-0.
— 4A: Verdigris (Claremore) topped Catoosa (Catoosa) 2-0 for the title.
PENNSYLVANIA (Brackets)
The state title has been awarded in the Keystone State.
— Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg) beat Penn Manor (Millersville) for the state title in Pennsylvania, taking a 1-0 victory. Cumberland Valley didn't allow a goal in the postseason. (Story)

State titles have been awarded in the Palmetto State.
— SCHSL CLASS AAAA: Wando (Mt. Pleasant) beat Mauldin (Mauldin) 1-0.
— SCHSL CLASS AAA: Hilton Head (Hilton Head Island) beat Fort Mill 4-2.
— SCHSL CLASS AA: Academic Magnet (North Charleston) beat Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville) by a 3-1 score.

— SCISA CLASS AAA: Cardinal Newman (Columbia) topped Pinewood Prep (Summerville) by a 2-1 score.

— CLASS AAA: McLean outlasted Cox (Virginia Beach) 3-2 in a high-scoring title-game victory.
— CLASS AA: Broad Run (Ashburn) shut out Blacksburg 1-0 to win the whole thing.
— CLASS A: Mason (Falls Church) shut out Clarke County (Berryville) 2-0 for the championship.
WISCONSIN (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in the Badger State, and all three were earned with 1-0 scores.
— DIVISION 1: Appleton North bested West (Waukesha) 1-0 for the state championship.
— DIVISION 2: Edgewood (Madison) edged Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay) 1-0 for the title.
— DIVISION 3: Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson) is the champ after a 1-0 decision over Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids).
WYOMING (Brackets)
State titles have been awarded in Wyoming.
— 4A: Campbell County (Gillette) and Laramie needed a shootout to decide the title. Campbell County won 3-1.
— 3A: Jackson Hole (Jackson) bested Lander Valley (Lander) 5-0 for the crown.
