Make it 13 blowout wins for East New York Family Academy this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lincoln 69-35 at home. The victory was just what East New York Family Academy needed coming off of a 92-30 loss in their prior game.
Arianna Mercado was her usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of East New York Family Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Eugene, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
East New York Family Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Lincoln, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
East New York Family Academy will be playing at home against the at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
