After losing its first game of the season against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh), Archbishop Wood was unstoppable, defeating Bishop McDevitt 52-0 in the Class 3A state championship game and blasting Allentown Central Catholic 70-14 in the semifinals. Finished ranked No. 13 overall in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25, the highest ranking by any medium school team.
