One of the most decorated players in the rising senior class, Smart has won a pair of state titles as well as two gold medals with USA Basketball. Scotlandville is 98-11 in his three seasons.
As a junior, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound point guard averaged 25.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game while leading the Hornets to 31 wins and the Class 5A state title.
Smart was named second team MaxPreps Junior All-American and was the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.
247Sports has Smart pegged as the No. 21 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 with other offers coming in from Kansas, Ohio State and UCLA.
