The Cascade Cadets can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They really took it to Indianapolis Scecina Memorial for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-19 victory on the road. With Cascade ahead 44-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Cascade's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaylee Austin, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Austin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Lilly Hall was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Cascade racked up 15 assists.
Cascade pushed their record up to 9-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Cascade will head out on the road to square off against Brown County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 7:30 p.m.
