Two games produced six of the entrants on this week's list of national football stat stars.
In Marble Falls' 62-55 win over Boerne-Champion, quarterback
Mike Richardson set a Texas record with 725 yards passing. He also finished with seven touchdowns. His counterpart, Boerne-Champion's Kyle Poeske, also made the list with 585 yards through the air. Richardson's main target, Garrett Gray, finished second this week with 293 yards receiving on 13 catches. The teams combined for 1,521 yards.
In Arizona, Prescott outdueled Cactus Shadows 63-49 behind Brady Mengarelli's 419 yards rushing, which ranked second this week among rushing leaders. Cactus Shadows' Bryce Kinsler had the nation's second-best passing performance with 639 yards and six touchdowns. The teams combined for 1,229 yards.
Other performances of note include Derrick Henry's 510 yards rushing in Yulee's 45-28 win over Jackson and Dylan Beasley's nine touchdown passes in Nelson County's 76-36 win over North Bullitt.
