A First Team All-American, Schmidt was the sparkplug for California's Division II champion with a 38-0 record. She recorded 570 digs, 22 aces and 465 serve receptions with 23 errors. The 5-6 Schmidt was the San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year and the WCAL's MVP.
S - Michelle Hernandez, Bella Vista (Fair Oaks), SeniorThe 5-8 Hernandez was named Sacramento Bee All-Metro after leading the 31-9 Broncos to the Division II section semifinals. The Capital Valley Conference MVP totaled 983 assists, 226 digs, 101 kills and 80 aces.
S - Tiana Barnett, King (Riverside), SeniorBarnett set an Inland Empire record with 1,232 assists in leading MLK to the state final. She was named All-CIF Southern Section.
S/OH - Kylie Miller, Rancho Cucamonga, FreshmanA Freshman All-American, the 5-10 Miller led RCHS to a 28-6 record with 339 kills, 50 aces,188 digs and 414 assists. She also had just two errors in 74 serve receptions.
MB - Brittany Abercrombie, La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad), JuniorThe 6-2 Abercrombie led the Mavericks to the Division II state semifinals and totaled 455 kills, 74 blocks, 98 digs and 40 aces. The future UCLA Bruin was an All-CIF San Diego Section honoree and the San Diego U-T's North County Player of the Year.
MB - Flynn Salas-Miller, Venice (Los Angeles), JuniorThe 5-11 Salas-Miller led Venice to a 31-10 record with 253 kills and 94 blocks. She was the Los Angeles City Section Division II Player of Year.
OH - Ashley Harris, Casa Grande (Petaluma), SeniorThe 6-8 Harris led Casa Grande to a 25-7 record as she recorded 526 kills, 189 digs, 31 blocks and 41 aces on the season. She will attend the University of Arizona.
OH - Maycie LaBass, Gregori (Modesto), JuniorThe 6-foot LaBass was among the national leaders in kills and attacking with 579 kills, at 65 percent. She also had 37 blocks, 279 digs and 74 aces and was a Modesto Bee All-Area pick.

The co-MVP of the SCVAL (De Anza Division) had 503 kills (6.1 per set) to lead Los Gatos to the CCS Division II final.
OH - Kalei Greeley, King (Riverside), JuniorThe 6-2 Greeley was the CIF II-AA Southern Section Player of Year. In totaling 541 kills, Greeley led MLK to the state final. She was selected at the 2012 HSGameTime Girls Volleyball Player of the Year.
OH - Clare Powers, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), JuniorThe 6-3 Powers was a first team Underclass All-American, first-team All-WCAL selection and finished the season with 366 kills, 212 digs, 38 blocks and 27 aces while helping Mitty to an unbeaten season and No. 1 state ranking.
OH - Alex Sheredy, Presentation (San Jose), SeniorThe 5-11 Sheredy was a San Jose Mercury News All-Star and All-WCAL first-team pick with 374 kills, 299 digs, 45 blocks and 43 aces for the CCS Division II semifinalist. She will attend Washington University in St. Louis.
OH - Rachael Schaefer, El Diamante (Visalia), JuniorNamed the Visalia Times All-County Player of the Year, the 6-foot Schaefer finished with 329 kills and 25 blocks as the Miners made history by winning the program's first Central Section Division II championship.

OH - Aleisha Coates, Silverado (Victorville), SeniorCoates, a four-year varsity player and last year's Daily Press Girls Volleyball Athlete of the Year, will attend New Mexico State. She was the Desert Sky League Player of Year in 2011 and 2012.
OH - Deanna Blaine, Whittier Christian (La Habra), JuniorThe 5-10 Blaine recorded 386 kills, 29 blocks, 312 digs, 41 aces and 506 receptions for the Heralds. She was the All-CIF Division II-A Player of the Year, a first-team All-Area selection and the MVP of the Olympic League.
OH - Maggie Dunn, Mayfield (Pasadena), SeniorThe 5-10 senior finished with 245 kills, 322 digs, 36 aces and 30 blocks for the Cubs. Dunn was selected to All-Prep League and All-CIF Southern Section II-AA first teams. She was named to the Pasadena Star-News all-area volleyball team.
OH - Chloe Lott, St. Francis (Mountain View), SeniorThe daughter of NFL standout Ronnie Lott, the 5-8 senior totaled 421 kills and was named Palo Alto Daily News Player of the Year and was a First-Team All-WCAL pick.

The UC Davis-bound standout contributed 332 kills, 165 digs, 33 aces and 27 blocks and was named All-Rio Hondo League co-Most Valuable Player. Named to All-CIF Southern Section II-AA first team.
S - Rachel Linden, Las Lomas (Walnut Creek), SeniorA first team All-DFAL selection, the senior recorded 1,245 assists, 354 digs, and 79 aces in leading the Knights.
S - Kelsey Crawford, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), JuniorThe 5-9 junior setter recorded 1,042 assists (11 per set) as the Monarchs went 38-0, finished No. 2 in the U.S. and won the California Division II title. She also totaled 218 digs, 45 kills and 22 aces (95%).
MB - Justine Williams, Madera South, SeniorNamed Madera Tribune co-Player of the Year and County/Metro League co-Most Valuable Player, the 6-1 Williams compiled 258 kills, 274 digs and 30 blocks.
MB - Masha Yelsukova, Cupertino, JuniorThe 6-foot junior earned El Camino League's Most Valuable Player award and set school records with 399 kills and 146 blocks. She also served 82 aces in 393 serves (90%).

OH - Kylee Wolfe, Whittier Christian (La Habra), JuniorWolfe, a junior, was named Player of the Year by the Whittier Daily News. She totaled 410 kills, 253 digs, 49 acres and 23 blocks as the Heralds won the Southern Section II-A title and won 35 of 40 games.
OH - Chanel Hoffman, Santiago (Corona), JuniorThe 6-0 junior was named the Big Valley League's Most Valuable Player and to the CIF All-Southern Section team. She led Santiago with 371 kills, 260 digs and 56 aces.
OH - Emily Reder, San Ramon Valley (Danville), SeniorReder earned first team All-EBAL honors in 2012 with 589 kills, 479 digs, 63 aces and 31 blocks.
OH - Cassidy Denny, El Camino (Sacramento), SeniorThe 5-6 outside hitter was All-Sacramento Bee Metro in leading the Eagles to the NorCal Division II finals. She collected 279 digs, 68 aces, 503 serve receptions and had 398 kills for her 35-6 team.
