This is the final MaxPreps and JJHuddle boys soccer athlete of the week and team of the week awards in boys soccer for the 2016-2017 school year.
Each week during the season (regular and post), there was a fan-generated contest to tab weekly winners. Each weekly winner receives awards (bracelets and certificates).
How does it work? Fans nominate top performances (send emails to efrantz@maxpreps.com) and nominees are also be selected from those schools that report stats on MaxPreps. We announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on MaxPreps and JJHuddle every Tuesday and voting will be conducted in a special poll. Voting ceases at noon on Monday. The winners are be announced the next day along with the next week's nominees.
You can vote as many times as you want. It's a competition.
We will hold weekly awards for winter sports in boys and girls basketball.

* Charlie Fink, Revere (Richfield) (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)
Goalkeeper
had 16 saves in a 1-0 double overtime loss to Alter in the D-II state
final. Had a shutout in a 2-0 state semifinal win over Celina.
Week 12 Boys Soccer Team of the Week
* Archbishop Alter (Kettering) (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)
The
Knights won the program's fourth state title and first since 1998 with a
1-0 double overtime win over Revere in the D-II state final. Dispatched
two-time defending state champion Columbus DeSales 2-1 in double
overtime in the state semifinals.

Had two goals and four assists in an 11-0 win over Liberty-Benton.

Scored five goals in an 8-0 win over Tiffin Columbian.

The Jeeps improved to 6-0-1 with a 7-1 win over Lucasville Valley. South
Webster scored 10 seconds into the game and had seven different players
score goals. Also beat Jackson 5-0. Have outscored opponents 35-6 and
have four shutouts.

* Dalton Taynor, Miami East (Casstown) (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)
Tied his father Darrell’s school record for goals in a game with five in
a win over National Trail. The time out he broke the record with six
schools in a win over Piqua.
* A.J. Wolford, Swanton
Senior goalkeeper made three saves on one penalty kick in a loss to state-ranked Archbold. Finished the night with 15 saves.

* Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield) (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)
The Rams ran their own unbeaten streak to five games and beat previously
unbeaten Ontario 1-0. Also beat Mansfield Senior last week 6-2.

* Ryan Davis, Monroe (FINAL VOTING RESULTS)
Had four goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over Franklin. Added a hat trick in a 3-1 win over Eaton.

Beat Elyria 3-0 to improve to 10-2-1 and become the first team in
program history (30 years) to reach 10 wins in a season. Sandusky has
outscored opponents 42-8 and has seven shutouts.

Had three goals and two assists in a 9-0 win over Clinton-Massie and two
goals and four assists in a 10-0 win over Washington Court House. Has
34 goals and 20 assists this season.

After a 1-4-2 start, the Panthers are 3-0-2 since. Have outscored opponents 7-2 during the win streak and have three shutouts.

Scored five goals in a 7-0 win over Twin Valley South to become the program’s all-time leading goal scorer (72).

The Warriors beat Heath 4-0 to win the outright LCL title.

Goalkeeper made 14 saves in a 2-1 win over Clear Fork.

The Bees ran their win streak to seven and claimed the CCC title
