If the Ferndale Eagles were expecting to get some payback for the 66-49 loss against the Clarkston Wolves when they previously met in January, then they were left disappointed. Ferndale took a hard 63-48 fall against Clarkston on Friday. That's the fewest points the Eagles have scored all season.
Ferndale's overall record fell to 8-9. The victory was the 15th in a row for the Wolves and raised their record to 16-1.
Ferndale will take on Lake Orion in two weeks. Ferndale has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. As for Clarkston, they will go up against North Farmington next week. Clarkston won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
