South Bend Adams has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while South Bend Saint Joseph has won four straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, South Bend Adams put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They blew past Elkhart Christian Academy 14-1. While South Bend Adams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brayah Williams-Winston was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
South Bend Adams always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elkhart Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .391.
While South Bend Saint Joseph didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against New Prairie by a score of 15-11 on Monday.
Like South Bend Adams, South Bend Saint Joseph also got a great game from a two-way player: Bella Esquibel. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Esquibel was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Mary Stack was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Wulf, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
South Bend Adams' victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. South Bend Adams has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .530. However, it's not like South Bend Saint Joseph struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
South Bend Adams came out on top in a nail-biter against South Bend Saint Joseph in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 10-9. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
