Shore - Central B recap Oct. 30, 2012
Point Pleasant Beach extended the longest winning streak in Shore - Central B this week by beating Keyport/Hudson Regional, 42-14. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Garnet Gulls.
Point Pleasant Beach took down the Raiders 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Shore Regional's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Muh has thrown for 539 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Tyler Vivian has seven catches for 155 yards. Jack Kelly leads the league in rushing with 510 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Keyport/Hudson Regional takes on Shore Regional. At the moment, Mike Ciccotelli's team is in third, while the Blue Devils are in second.
John Wagner's team led Shore - Central B in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Raiders.
