Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, Tenn.) basketball star
Moussa Cisse announced Wednesday he will be attending the University of Memphis in the fall after reclassifying as a senior back in May. The Tigers won out over Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia, Kentucky and LSU.
Cisse is regarded as the No. 11 prospect in the Class of 2020 according to 247Sports and is a potential lottery pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-10 center earned first team Junior MaxPreps All-American honors last season after averaging 23.2 points, 14.2 rebounds and 8.7 blocked shots per contest while leading the Lynx to Tennessee's Division II A state championship.
Although Cisse is still developing on the offensive end, elite rebounding and shot-blocking skills should help him make an instant impact in the American Athletic Conference next season.
Cisse is the first pledge in the Tigers Class of 2020, joining a strong returning contingent from last season.
