The points continue to pile up for Peoria (Ill.), who nearly got to 100 in a 94-54 win over Bloomington on Friday night.

Peoria's stunning output – this is 11-man football – comes a week after the Lions put up 82 points in an overtime win over Peoria Notre Dame.

Against Bloomington, quarterback Coran Taylor led the winners by throwing for 261 yards, running for 122 and producing six total touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound senior committed to the University of Illinois in April after tallying over 3,000 yards and 39 touchdowns as a junior.

Peoria (3-2) is now averaging 69.8 points per game and allowing 56.4.

Under head coach Tim Thornton, the Lions rode a high-octane offense to the Class 5A state title a year ago, averaging 57.5 points per game with stunning totals of 96 and 79 along the way.
