It was a good week to be a member of the Xcellent 50, as 37 teams on the list won all their games last week.
Nine of the top 10 teams remain unchanged from last week and previous No. 7 Clovis only dropped down to No. 16 as it split a pair of games with nationally ranked Buchanan. Stillwater also took a tumble after a loss to Jenks and Fayetteville, but it remains in the top 50.
Seven teams enter the Xcellent 50 this week, led by Freeman (Richmond, Va.), which moves in at No. 31. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) also returns to the rankings at No. 45.

MaxPreps Xcellent 50 National Baseball Rankings
1. (Last week 1) Barbe (Lake Charles, La.), 36-2
The Buccaneers breezed through the first two rounds of the Class 5A playoffs, blanking Grace King 11-0 in the first round and taking two from Sulphur, 8-1 and 12-3, in the second round. Barbe meets defending state champion Catholic (Baton Rouge), the No. 9 seed, in a best-of-three series starting on Friday.
2. (2) Lambert (Suwanee, Ga.), 28-0
The Longhorns belted three home runs, one each by
Tucker Maxwell,
Seth Beer and
Jd Dutka, to defeat Dacula 15-3 in the first game of a playoff-opening series. Beer also had a double and finished 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Maxwell's home run was a grand slam and he also had two doubles.
Ian Kimbrell had a home run in a 16-3 win in the second game. Lambert will face Mill Creek in the second round.

The Falcons needed nine innings to get past Miami Beach in the regional quarterfinals.
Gentry Fortuno pitched all nine innings in the 2-1 victory as he gave up one earned run on five hits with no walks and 14 strikeouts.
Miguel Presno was 2-for-3 on offense. Flanagan will host Miami on Tuesday in the regional semifinals.
4. (4) Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), 26-2
The Mavericks posted their third-straight shutout with a 4-0 win over Suncoast (Riviera Beach) in the regional quarterfinals.
Brian Gonzalez threw a no-hitter and struck out 13 to pace Archbishop McCarthy.
Dylan Bautista drove in three of the Mavericks' runs. Archbishop McCarthy faces Cardinal Gibbons in the regional semifinals.
5. (5) Moody (Corpus Christi, Texas), 27-2
The Trojans opened bi-district play with a 12-0 single game win over Rio Grande City.
Kenneth Saenz was the winning pitcher as he went five innings and allowed no runs on one hit with 14 strikeouts. He also hit a grand slam. Moody faces Victoria East in the second round.
6. (6) O'Connor (Helotes, Texas), 30-1
The Panthers opened bi-district play with a pair of shutout wins over South San Antonio. In an 11-0 win,
Tommy Wilson gave up one hit and struck out five in five innings.
Gavin Johnson paced the offense with a 2-for-3 effort that included a double and three RBIs.
Kolby Lunsford followed with a two-hitter and five strikeouts in a 4-0 win.
Jose Rodriguez belted a pair of home runs on offense.
7. (8) Mosley (Lynn Haven, Fla.), 25-3
The Dolphins will get a rematch with Rutherford, the team that defeated Mosley for the district title, when the two teams meet in the regional semifinals this week. Mosley needed 10 innings to defeat Wakulla 8-7 in the quarterfinals.

8. (9) Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio), 18-0
The Marauders won the Ohio Jesuit Tournament with a 6-5 come-from-behind win over Toledo St. Johns Jesuit. Trevor Ray delivered the game-winning hit in the bottom of the eighth inning. Walsh Jesuit also defeated Parma Padua 10-0 and 7-0 with
Nate Romans going 6-for-6 with a home run and eight RBIs in the twinbill. At the Chad Crawford Memorial Classic, Walsh Jesuit won its first two games, beating North Canton Hoover 9-3 and then Strongsville 10-0.
9. (10) Calallen (Corpus Christi, Texas), 31-3
The Wildcats advanced to the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs by defeating Harlandale (San Antonio) 14-3 and 1-0 in the bi-district playoffs.
Dylan Duarte raised his record to 8-0 with the win in the 14-3 victory, striking out 11 and giving up four hits.
Reece Barrett had a home run. Calallen faces Flour Bluff in the second round.
10. (12) Olympia (Orlando, Fla.), 25-2
The Titans edged Dr. Phillips 3-2 in the regional quarterfinals.
Michael Byrne pitched just two outs in the game, but he got the win when Olympia came from behind with two runs in the bottom of the seventh for the walkoff win.
Kyle Corbin tripled to right field in the inning to drive in one run. He scored the winning run on a groundout. Olympia will meet Apopka for the fourth time this year in the regional semifinals.
11. (13) Puyallup (Wash.), 20-0
Puyallup finished the regular season undefeated with three more wins last week.
Quinn Rawson was 3-for-4 with five RBIs in a 12-1 win over Rogers (Puyallup). He then went 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs in a 12-3 win over Federal Way.
Brendan Illies led a 6-1 win over Emerald Ridge (South Hill) by going 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run and three RBIs. Puyallup will play Kentridge in the first round of the SPSL playoffs.
12. (14) Rancho Bernardo (San Diego), 20-3

Rancho Bernardo took three games from Mt. Carmel (San Diego), winning 5-3, 6-5 and 10-2.
Alex Jackson had two home runs in the 6-5 win to give him 10 for the season and 46 for his career.
13. (15) St. Rita (Chicago), 25-0
St. Rita remained undefeated by edging Loyola Academy 6-3 on Monday and then taking a pair from Providence Catholic, 8-1 and 14-1.
Chris Delgadillo had a double and three RBIs in the 8-1 win while
Mike Costanzo went six innings and struck out eight for the win. Delgadillo,

Nick Goldsmith,
Shane Peisker and
Nate Soria all hit home runs in the 14-1 win. St. Rita has two big games against St. Laurence this week.
14. (16) Clearwater Central Catholic (Fla.), 26-0
Clearwater Central Catholic won its regional quarterfinal game against Out-of-Door Academy 12-3, with
Andrew Mink II going 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. The Marauders have a rematch with Calvary Christian (Clearwater), the team it defeated for the district championship, in the regional semifinals.
15. (17) The First Academy (Orlando, Fla.), 23-4
The Royals opened the Class 3A regional quarterfinals with a 6-1 win over Father Lopez (Dayton Beach).
Foster Griffin started the game and went three innings for the win. He struck out five and gave up one hit. The First Academy faces Orangewood Christian, which has defeated the Royals twice this year, in the regional semifinals.
16. (7) Clovis (Calif.), 28-5
The Cougars split their Tri-Rivers Athletic Conference matchup with Buchanan, winning 1-0 on Tuesday and falling 9-4 on Friday. Clovis fell behind 7-0 early in the latter game, although
Jacob Gatewood came through with a two-run home run and a two-run double.
Mccarthy Tatum lost his first game of the season to fall to 9-1. Clovis won the opening game of the series on an error in the seventh inning.
17. (18) Cypress Ranch (Houston), 22-4-1
The Mustangs posted two shutouts in bi-district play against Eisenhower (Houston), winning 10-0 and 19-0.
Corbin Martin was 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs in the 10-0 win and then went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and six RBIs in the second game. Cypress Ranch will play Westside (Houston) in the second round.
18. (19) Elk Grove (Calif.), 20-4
The Thundering Herd went 5-0 during the week, including a
6-1 win over Temecula Valley in the championship game of the Boras Classic. Elk Grove also took a pair from Franklin (Elk Grove), 6-5 and 11-3, and two from Laguna Creek (Elk Grove), 6-3 and 7-6. Against Temecula Valley,
Dylan Carlson was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
19. (20) Langham Creek (Houston), 25-3
The Lobos played a single playoff game against Alief Taylor in bi-district play, winning 10-0.
John Michael Sopher had a pair of doubles among his three hits while
Zach Sweet was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. The Lobos will meet Cinco Ranch in the second round.
20. (21) St. Francis (Mountain View, Calif.), 21-3
The Lancers won two games by shutout, beating Bellarmine (San Jose) 2-0 and Valley Christian (San Jose) 1-0.
Tyler Deason threw a no-hitter against Bellarmine, striking out six and walking three.
John Gavin then threw a one-hitter against Valley Christian, striking out seven without a walk. St. Francis concludes West Catholic Athletic League play against Archbishop Riordan and Archbishop Mitty.
21. (22) Horizon (Scottsdale, Ariz.), 24-5
The Huskies won their lone game last week, defeating Brophy College Prep (Phoenix) 4-3.
George Jennings drove in the winning run with a walkoff single that scored
Nick Berger. Horizon will face Sunnyslope in the first round of the Division I playoffs.
22. (23) Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.), 25-3
Hamilton topped Perry (Gilbert) in its only game last week, winning 4-3.
Chandler Reynard and
Hunter Robson each had two hits in the win. Hamilton will take on Chandler this week in its first playoff matchup.
23. (24) Pearland (Texas), 30-3
The Oilers won their bi-district series with North Shore (Houston) with a 3-0, 12-4 sweep. Brady Basso struck out 12 and threw a no-hitter in the 3-0 victory.
Jacob Barfield and Kamren Dukes each had two doubles in the latter game. Pearland will take on Fort Bend Elkins in the second round.
24. (25) Lake Travis (Austin, Texas), 30-2-1
Lake Travis advanced to the second round with a bi-district sweep of Stony Point 5-0 and 9-2.
Connor Mayes went seven shutout innings on two hits with six strikeouts in the 5-0 win. Lake Travis will meet Bryan in the second round.
25. (26) Alexander (Laredo, Texas), 23-2
Alexander knocked off Edinburg 11-0 and 2-0 in bi-district play. The Bulldogs will meet Weslaco in the second round.
The Next 2526. (27) Broken Arrow (Okla.), 31-4
The Tigers won their only game last week, defeating Sapulpa 2-0. Broken Arrow will begin regional play next week.
27. (28) Fayetteville (Ark.), 25-3
The Purple Dogs had a stellar week, defeating Springdale 16-1 and 15-3 along with beating nationally-ranked Stillwater 2-1.
Kyle Pate struck out 14 in the win over Stillwater while

Blake Power,
Duc Dunn and
Cody Davenport all hit home runs in the 15-3 win over Springdale. Dunn also had a home run in the 16-1 victory.

Ardrey Kell had a pair of league wins last week, defeating Charlotte Catholic 7-0 and South Mecklenburg 6-1. The Knights finished the regular season against Harding University (Charlotte) this week.
29. (31) Carroll (Corpus Christi, Texas), 29-3
The Tigers defeated Holmes (San Antonio) 13-1 and 7-0 to advance to the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs.
30. (34) Sumter (S.C.), 21-2-1
Sumter won its first two playoff games, defeating Aiken 4-1 and Summerville 11-1. Sumter will face the winner of the Aiken-Summerville elimination game on Wednesday for the District VI championship.
31. (NR) Freeman (Richmond, Va.), 13-0
Freeman is ranked No. 1 by the Richmond Times-Dispatch, ahead of Cosby.
32. (38) Cosby (Midlothian, Va.), 10-0
Cosby did not play last week, but has games with Huguenot (Richmond), Clover Hill (Midlothian) and James River (Midlothian) this week.
33. (39) Woodside (Newport News, Va.), 15-0
Woodside remained unbeaten with a 10-4 win over Grassfield (Chesapeake) and a 4-2 win over Indian River (Chesapeake).
34. (40) Christian Brothers (Memphis, Tenn.), 28-4
Christian Brothers won three times to complete its regular season, beating Memphis University 10-5, St. Benedict 8-0 and 12-1.
35. (41) Western Branch (Chesapeake, Va.), 14-1
Western Branch won its only game of the week, defeating Kecoughtan (Hampton) 4-3.
36. (42) The Woodlands (Texas), 26-5
The Woodlands topped Klein 8-6 and 9-6 to win its bi-district matchup. Chris Andritsos hit home runs in both games.
37. (11) Stillwater (Okla.), 25-4
Stillwater played three tough opponents last week and went 1-2 in the three outings. Stillwater split a pair of outings with Jenks, losing the first game 4-2 and winning the second game 4-2. In an interstate battle with Fayetteville, Stillwater fell 2-1.
38. (43) Jenks (Okla.), 27-5
The Trojans split a pair of games with Stillwater, winning 4-2 and losing 4-2. Jenks also took a pair from Norman, winning 10-3 and 10-0.
39. (44) Buchanan (Clovis, Calif.), 22-5
The Bears split their two league games with Clovis, losing 1-0 in the first game and winning the second game 9-4.
40. (45) Carroll (Southlake, Texas), 26-4
The Dragons won their only bi-district game, defeating Paschal (Fort Worth) 5-2 to advance to the next round.
41. (47) Park Vista (Lake Worth, Fla.), 25-3
Park Vista won its regional quarterfinal game over Jupiter 6-2 and will face Palm Beach Gardens in the next round.
42. (48) Spanish Fort (Ala.), 36-6
Spanish Fort advanced to the Class 5A semifinals with a 2-1 and 9-4 series sweep of Marbury. It will face Rehobeth for a berth in the championship series.
43. (49) Sterling Heights Stevenson (Mich.), 18-1-1
The Titans saw their 19-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss on Saturday but still won five games during the week.
44. (50) Lee's Summit West (Mo.), 20-3

The Gaels have been dominant of late, beating Legacy (North Las Vegas) 13-0 and Desert Oasis (Las Vegas) 9-3 last week.
46. (NR) Regis Jesuit (Aurora, Colo.), 16-3
The Raiders have a recent win over ThunderRidge and have not lost since playing in the National High School Invitational.
47. (NR) Norco (Calif.), 20-2
Norco has won 18 straight, including two from Corona last week, 11-4 and 6-3.
48. (NR) Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, Ill.), 21-2
Sacred Heart-Griffin is ranked No. 2 in Illinois behind St. Rita, and defeated Lanphier (Springfield) 17-0 and 11-0 and also topped East Peoria 6-0.
49. (NR) Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, Mass.), 11-0
The defending champions are undefeated with a 21-1 win over Marshfield, a 6-3 win over Acton-Boxborough (Acton) and a 12-2 win over Brockton last week.
50. (NR) Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, N.J.), 16-1
Bishop Eustace is ranked No. 1 in the state by NJ.com.
