Just a day later, a top recruit from the Class of 2017 announced he's leaving the prep program where he became famous.
According to a tweet from his account,
Tyjon Lindsey is leaving
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) and moving back to California.
He didn't say where he's going, but Lindsey did play at
Poway (Calif.) before he moved to Las Vegas along with the family of star quarterback Tate Martell. Martell's family took Lindsey in, and in his tweet he heaped praise upon his god family.
Lindsey is rated as a
5-star recruit by 247Sports, ranked 15th in the nation in 247 Composite Rankings. Texas A&M is the leader in the 247 Crystal Ball, but USC, Oregon and Ohio State are also listed as having interest. As a receiver for a team that finished fourth in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard, he posted 45 catches for 1,117 yards and 14 touchdowns.
A similar tweet came from
Brendan Radley-Hiles, who said he is headed back to Los Angeles. Radley-Hiles was a sophomore defensive back and receiver for Bishop Gorman last season. He has an offer to Arizona already.
