MaxPreps Top 25 Regional High School Football Computer Rankings: Northeast Region

Paramus Catholic (N.J.) lost its first game of the season to St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) last week, but it wasn't enough to knock it out of the top spot in the MaxPreps Northeast Region Football Computer Rankings.

Paramus Catholic still holds a nine-point lead over No. 2 Bergen Catholic. St. Joseph Regional, which had two losses on the season, moved up from No. 7 to No. 4.

Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, Pa.) was one of the top movers of the week as it rose from No. 20 to No. 9 after winning its playoff opener last week to stay undefeated at 11-0. Central Catholic (Pittsburgh), meanwhile, jumped 10 spots from No. 23 to No. 13 while raising its record to 10-1.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
