Seaman (Topeka, Kan.) edges out Pensacola Catholic (Fla.) and Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, Ariz.) for the No. 1 ranking in the MaxPreps Medium School National Computer Rankings after capturing the Kansas 5A state championship.
Pensacola Catholic, the No. 1 team in the
MaxPreps Xcellent 50, won the Florida 4A state championship and finished undefeated. Meanwhile Notre Dame Prep captured the Division II championship in Arizona.

After going 23-2 and winning a Kansas state title, the Vikings of Seaman High School finished No. 1 in the Final 2013 Medium Schools Rankings.
