Montverde Academy (Fla.) at Dick's Sporting Goods High School Nationals is over.
Entering Friday's semifinals in New York City, the Eagles had returned to Florida with the championship trophy each of the past three years and won 10 games in a row. Montverde Academy has appeared in the final of the event five of the past six years.

La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) – fresh off a minor upset of St. Benedict's Prep in the quarterfinals – sent Montverde Academy home empty-handed this season with a 55-47 semifinal victory.

Brian Bowen paced La Lumiere with 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Freshman point guard
Tyger Campbell also made a big impact for the Lakers with 11 points and four assists while playing all 32 minutes.
Junior forward
Silvio de Sousa, a native of Angola, led Montverde Academy with 15 points and five rebounds.
