The score remained 6-3 into the fourth quarter until Prattville backup quarterback
Jalen Whitlow sprung loose on an 80-yard touchdown run from which Daphne would not recover.
The win was a significant one for Prattville, which has endured some road blocks this season after debuting as a preseason Top 10 team. It was the subject of a highly-publicized investigation by the state governing body and also suffered two losses in its first five games.
With the win, Prattville now sits at 8-2 on the season and will face Fairhope in the state quarterfinals next weekend.
