Led by the single-season scoring leader
Kaegan Ash,
Mt. Enterprise (Texas) led the nation in scoring during the 2025 high school football season with 872 points – an average of 58.1 points per game.
Ash broke a national record during the season with 528 points in 15 games. Mt. Enterprise (14-1) scored 60 or more points nine times.
Mt. Enterprise finished nine points ahead of
Randle (Richmond, Texas), which scored 863 points in going 15-1 and losing to
South Oak Cliff (Dallas, Texas) in the Conference 5A Division 2 final. Randle averaged 53.9 points per game, which was 11th best in the nation.

Texas schools made up 12 of the top 25 highest scoring teams in the nation, according to scores reported to MaxPreps, including six of the top seven.
Texas also had the highest-scoring 6-man football team in the country and the highest-scoring team by average points per game.
Valor Preparatory Academy (Waco) led all 6-man teams with 921 points, just two points ahead of
Jayton (Texas), which had 919.
Alvarado (Texas) had the highest average points per game at 62.4 points per game. The Indians played only 13 games (12-1), but scored over 60 points in nine of those outings.
Bixby (Okla.) at 60.4 and
Andale (Kan.) at 60.2 were the only other teams to average over 60 points per game.
Kendrick (Idaho) scored 893 points to lead all 8-man teams. The Tigers (12-0) averaged 74.4 points per game with three games with 90 or more points and a high of 102.
