*According to the National Federation of High Schools Record Book, John Giannantonio of Netcong rushed for 754 yards in one game and 4,756 yards in one season. However, research by several New Jersey reporters have determined those "rushing" totals to be "all-purpose" totals and thus are not included in this record book. Giannantonio may have had over 3,000 yards rushing in 1950, but his exact total is unknown.
#Jack Moran of Hun (Princeton) threw for 4,513 yards in 2024. He also threw for 608 yards in a single game. Both would be New Jersey state records. However, Hun is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) and is not a member of the NJSIAA.
