The scoring began on American Heritage's opening drive with a touchdown run by
Greg Bryant, who recently reopened his recruit after committing to Oklahoma in the spring.
Armwood did a good job bottling up Bryant after the game's opening drive, but American Heritage took a 20-7 lead into halftime.
American Heritage expanded its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. AH scored three times in the third, including a field goal and an interception returned for a score.
The Hawks'
Darryl Richardson accounted for three total touchdowns for Armwood. The 6-foot-5 senior is entertaining scholarship offers form the likes of Tennessee and South Florida.
The loss comes after Armwood defeated Brandon 55-0 last week.
In a non-conference game next week Armwood (1-1) takes on Tampa Bay Tech, and American Heritage (2-0) will go up against Palm Beach County rival Glades Central also in a non-conference game.
